HMH463 Sundown Patch.

| On 21 April, 2022 Pegasus was deactivated. It was a sad day for all of us original 463 Marines. HMH463 was the first CH53 squadron to see active service in the Vietnam War. A detachment of four helos and personnel went in country in December of 1966 and the remainder of the squadron arrived at Marble Mountain Air Facility in late April of 1967, debarking from the LPH10 Tripoli after her maiden voyage to West PAC.
